The singer admitted to receiving cosmetic enhancements on social media. In an Instagram post, Wyatt introduced her surgeon, Dr. Curves, noting that they would be returning on Instagram Live to speak to fans. Dr. Curves is a well-known surgeon who’s worked with other celebrities such as social media influencer Jayda Cheaves.

She also shared a picture of her posing as she sat in the surgeon’s office.

2. She Advocates For Domestic Abuse Victims

Keke Wyatt is open about her experiences growing up in a household where domestic violence occurred. Having grown up witnessing it as a young girl, she was devastated when it happened to her. In an interview with Essence, she vows to not allow the same to happen to her daughters “by having them in an environment that isn’t like that.” She later adds, “I did all I could to make sure my current husband Mike isn’t like that.”

Wyatt is passionate about using her voice to condemn domestic violence. She acted as spokesperson for the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence. She was also spokesperson for the Saving Our Daughters organization’s “YELL Confidence” initiative, co-founded by actress and singer Keke Palmer. Keke Wyatt is undoubtedly a talented singer. Ever since she was a little girl, she loved to sing in the church and only grew from there.

4. Critics Pressured Her To Move Away From Her Old Neighborhood

Keke Wyatt made headlines following an altercation in which she admits to stabbing her then-husband, who she alleged was abusive.

In her interview with Essence, she shares that returning to her neighborhood was difficult. “When everything happened, I moved immediately. There were helicopters over my house, people stealing stuff out of the yard….” she said. She reveals that people would approach her in public to ask her questions about the incident.

For her and her children’s peace of mind, she moved to a new area where her neighbors aren’t privy to her life behind-the-scenes.

“Where I live now, a lot of people in my community don’t know my business.” she says, “They know who I am, but they don’t dig deep. “

Keke Wyatt talks about the time when she wrote part of a hit song as a teenager but wasn’t given credit for it. In her interview with Essence, she shares that she was taken advantage of because she was so young. “I wrote the majority of one hit song. Of course, I didn’t get the credit for it because I was a little girl, but it’s cool,” she reveals, later adding that she recalls crying about it to her parents.

The experience taught her a lot about the industry at a young age. Now, she can look back and see that it was a lesson in perseverance that helped her build upon her self-esteem. She tells the interviewer, “Because I’m not the little girl that they stole from, I’m Keke Wyatt and I have people wanting to talk to me and know about my life and that’s hot.”
