A daughter called out her alleged absent father on TikTok, and you’ll never guess who: Allure Mitchell. The 21-year-old daughter of actor Kel Mitchell posted a TikTok alleging her father is only around financially.

She said Kel has been absent for ten years of her life, Radar Online reports.

“I guess ten years without your children could do this to you. I am done being silenced. My father is a type of man to fake as if he’s in my life, but he’s not. He was there financially. What I mean by that is he only paid for what, in my eyes, looked good on paper. He’ll pay for my first car, my high school, tuition, and my housing on campus until I cut him off for exactly this,” she captioned her video.

“I now live completely independently without any parental help. I did this to prove to my father that his money was never what I needed, and growing up the way I had to it, boggles me that he even thinks that’s what I cared about. But then I have to remember he doesn’t even know me; how could he? He wasn’t there. A father should also be there emotionally. A father should be there for their daughters in need. A father should provide. A father should just simply care,” she added.

She also said her family is homeless because Kel sold their home. Allure also alleges that he refuses to get her health insurance as he fears her mother will use it. Allure shared she’s attempted to build a relationship with her dad on numerous accounts, but it never clicked.

“I was at one point “homeless” in college, and my father not once made steps to open his home to me as a forever home but instead got me a dorm on campus during that time. Even though that was much appreciated, I needed my father,” Allure said.

Users on TikTok questioned if Allure was telling the truth based on the financial assistance she’s had from her dad over the years. Some called her “spoiled” and “upset she got cut off.”

“Well, I guess you’re in the same boat as my dad, who believes they’re gonna all that time and can come back. I’m supposed to naturally love you?” she responded to the comment.
