Love may be in the air for Kelis and comedian-actor Bill Murray.

According to Vibe, the unlikely pair are reportedly dating. Rumors about their romance sparked after the 72-year-old watched the 43-year-old singer perform in London last week from the side of the stage, The Sun reported.

The comedian has been spotted watching several performances, including her set at the Mighty Hoopla festival in Brockwell Park, South London.

Sources say the couple were together at a hotel and have been “getting close for a while” after meeting stateside. Their reported romance comes over a year after Kelis’ second husband’s death and two years since the Saturday Night Live alum’s estranged wife passed.

“They’ve clearly hit it off,” a friend told The Sun.

The friend also noted they’ve bonded over losing a spouse.

“But they’ve also both shared relatively recent bereavements and have that common bond between them,” they said. “Whatever it is that has brought them together, and however unlikely it seems, they are both single and are having fun despite the fairly big age gap.”

Murray is filming the new addition to the Ghostbusters franchise in London, during which he reprises his role as Peter Venkman. Other original cast members from the 1984 hit will also appear in the movie.

In April, production on Aziz Ansari’s directorial debut, Being Mortal, which Murray was acting in, was paused after someone complained about the comedian. Though he was tightlipped about the incident at the time, multiple sources told Puck the comedian allegedly straddled and kissed a “much younger” female production staff member. Murray thought it was a joke, but the staffer “interpreted his actions as entirely sexual” and was “horrified” by the incident. The staffer filed an official complaint and received over $100,000.

Around this time, Geena Davis also came forward and said Murray harassed her in 1990 while working together on a film, Variety reported.

Kelis and Murray have yet to confirm their relationship.
