Just when we thought Kelly Rowland and Serena Williams couldn’t be more talented, they recently showed off their cooking skills when they linked up for Sunday brunch over the weekend.

For those who don’t know, Rowland and Williams have been friends ever since bumping into each other and meeting for the first time at a concert years ago, according to Tennis.com. Throughout the years, they’ve documented their close bond through social media.

Most recently on Instagram, Rowland shared a video of Williams and herself preparing what appeared to be an amazing brunch for their families at the singer’s home with a caption that read: “Sunday Brunch at Da’ Spoons.” In the clip, the four-time Grammy winner is heard saying, “It’s time to make pancakes, Sunday pancakes” before panning over to the bacon that everyone has already started eating.

Seconds later, she wanders over to a different counter, where Williams is seen preparing cinnamon rolls from scratch! And you know Rowland couldn’t resist taking a bite out of the tennis pro’s mouth-watering creation. Judging by the huge smile on the Destiny’s Child star’s face, the cinnamon rolls were definitely a hit!

We’re still a little salty that we didn’t get an invite, but fans loved seeing them together as always. See their comments below.

“I just love how down to earth yall are!!! I wanna come!! 😂😂😂,” one fan commented.

“I ❤️ that you are friends with so many people..such an approachable person,” another said.

“The humble flex…Serena Williams just over here baking on a Sunday with me . 💁🏾‍♀️,” another person quipped.

Rowland has previously gushed about her admiration for Williams, praising her ongoing fight for gender equality in sports. “I do believe to whom much is given, much is required,” she told People magazine following Williams’ match against Naomi Osaka at the U.S. Open Women’s Final on Sept. 8, 2018. At the event, Williams received three violations, which she suggested were sexist. “She’s ready to fight the fight,” Rowland added, “and I’ll be there to fight with her.”
