Over the last few days, DaniLeigh has been trending — but not for her music. The singer and dancer is catching a lot of heat online for allegedly strong-arming situations with a few Black women behind the scenes.

Last week, rumors began to spread that DaniLeigh was to appear as a guest on a future episode of Wild ‘N Out. However, in order to appear on the episode, DaniLeigh allegedly requested that B. Simone be excluded from the episode. B. Simone, who is a longtime cast member of the show, has previously professed her adoration for DaBaby, the father of DaniLeigh’s daughter.

B.Simone addressed the validity of the rumors during a recent sit-down on Tamron Hall.

B.Simone was a guest on the show to promote her new Bounce TV sitcom, Finding Happy, starring comedic legend Kim Coles.

As Hall started the segment, she addressed Simone, letting her know that she’s been trending all night long.

“There’s a report that you were supposed to appear on an episode of Wild ‘N Out, this hit MTV show, Nick Cannon’s show,” said the host. “And that another female guest persuaded producers to take you off the show — that you’ve done nothing wrong and you were taken off. Your fans are concerned. Is it true they took you off the show?”

B. Simone replied in a very professional manner.

“You know what, I’m going to answer that very simply. It is true, but we’re going to have grace for that situation. I don’t agree with it, but I understand it, especially [since] you know she’s not that mature. So we’re just gonna have grace for her and move forward. And I don’t even have a publicist, and I know this sounds like the publicists, but I’ve had time to think about it and not react emotionally, and that’s genuinely how I feel.”

Shortly after the interview aired, DaniLeigh took to Instagram Live to defend herself and further expound on her side of the situation.

Me and B. Simone are not cool. So, I just, well, my team asked if she doesn’t do the episode that I do, respectfully,” she explained. “It was never anything to be like, ‘I’m a diva, I don’t want’ — I thought it’d be more mature to not have us sitting next to each other on a show, making it mad awkward and uncomfortable.”

“I’m protecting my peace,” the artist continued. “I’m protecting my heart on the situation. It wasn’t petty. She was actually there, so I’m sure she got paid. It wasn’t to take no money from nobody’s pocket.”

There was also speculation that DaniLeigh felt some type of way about a diss track that B. Simone released, addressing her controversial  “Yellow Bone” song.

On an Instagram post from @TheNeighborhoodTalk,  DaniLeigh commented, “But I’m immature. I never said anything to this girl and she really went into the studio to write this weak ass song. okay.”

Fans began attributing the beef with B. Simone to DaniLeigh’s unresolved feelings over DaBaby.

That was until DaniLeigh was exposed for allegedly playing dirty with another entertainment personality.

WGCI Chicago radio host Kendra G shared a story about DaniLeigh getting her removed from an interview on the Chicago radio station.

On Oct. 3, Kendra G handed DaniLeigh the “Goofy Ass Person of the Day Award,” stating that DaniLeigh used the same sentiment of “being uncomfortable” in an attempt to have her removed from an upcoming interview, but she was unsuccessful. Instead, the station canceled the interview with DaniLeigh altogether.

“She was set to do an interview with the morning show and she requested that I, Kendra G, be removed from the interview because she was uncomfortable talking to me. Girlfriend, this ain’t Wild ‘N Out. You ain’t going to ‘B. Simone’ me,” explained the radio jock.

She continued, “Now your whole interview has been canceled, but I’m trying to figure out why ain’t you wanna talk to me in the first place? I actually been on the radio defending your honor.”

Kendra G went on to list the multiple times she has publicly sided with DaniLeigh but admitted that she still planned on asking the tough questions as part of her job.

“I probably would’ve asked you all those questions because guess what? That’s my job. That’s what I do. I ask the questions that the people wanna know,” said Kendra G before taking a few shots at the singer. “Maybe you should focus on your job being in a studio and make a hit. And we can’t talk about your music and not about your personal life. That’s not my fault, that your personal life is more relevant than your music. That’s your fault. You’re around here trying to get people removed from interviews. It don’t go down like that. Now, you missed on the opportunity to have a radio interview on a number one urban station in Chicago. And guess what? This opportunity might not come around again because your music ain’t popping.”

DaniLeigh was apparently confused by the news of the canceled interview. According to a post in the artist’s Instagram Stories, she was not aware of the interview at all.

“ok this isn’t true was suppppp y’all??? whaaats going onn i’ve never heard anything about this interview,” she wrote.

While it’s not a diss track, Kendra addressed DaniLeigh’s confusion.

Kendra captioned the post, “Now have a blessed day! 😘” to make it clear she had no reason to lie.

While we can understand protecting your peace, DannyLeigh (or her team) may be doing more harm in the long run.
