Congratulations are in order for Kendrick Lamar and his fiancée, Whitney Alford, who just welcomed their first child into the world on Friday.
According to Us Weekly, Alford gave birth to a baby girl on July 26.
The Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE) star and Alford, who is an esthetician and makeup artist, have been together since high school. Lamar has been particularly lowkey about his personal life and relationship with his high school sweetheart, but the couple has been engaged since 2015.
During a revealing interview in 2014, Lamar told the New York Times that the California State University Long Beach graduate, Alford, was one of the few people who could call him out because '"She's been here since day 1."
And in a January 2015 Billboard profile, Lamar publicly reiterated his love for Alford.
"I wouldn't even call her my girl," the Pulitzer-winner told the magazine. "That's my best friend. I don't even like the term that society has put in the world as far as being a companion—she's somebody I can tell my fears to."
Folks on Twitter are already sending their well wishes to the new parents and their bundle of joy.
