The season 14 queen and one of the overall fan-favorites of the season pulled a power move on Friday’s episode. The runway category for episode 4 was “Night of 1000 J. Los.” Though she didn’t guest judge, Jennifer Lopez surprised the queens in a special message.
While her season 14 sisters brought some incredible J. Lo-inspired looks (honestly this is an amazing season for the runway and this one didn’t disappoint) — Colby brought a dress that J. Lo actually wore. Not only was it one that she actually wore, but it was one of J. Lo’s most famous looks.
This is the first time that a drag race queen has ever brought an outfit to the runway that was worn by a celebrity.

Though Colby was in the bottom 2 and had she had to lip-sync for her life against Alyssa Hunter (spoiler alert: Colby wins), it didn’t take anything from this iconic moment.
Also, having to lip-sync in THEE J.Lo green Versace dress!? Wow.
Fans were in awe on social media:
Wait, Kerri Colby is actually wearing the REAL 2019 revival of JLo’s green Versace dress!? Jesus. #DragRace

In an pre-season interview with Shadow and Act, Colby talked about making history on the season by it having two Black trans women with her and Kornbread.
“I think that we’ve already seen definitely interest progression, even from Drag Race Holland, just within their first few seasons just bringing it in. I think that we’re ready,” she said. “America has spoken, the world has spoken, World of Wonder has spoken now. And it’s time to showcase the community.”
RuPaul’s Drag Race airs Fridays at 8 p.m. on VH1.
