Ketanji Brown Jackson’s Supreme Court confirmation hearing is officially in full swing, The New York Times reports. In addition to the opening remarks for the hearing, the Washington, D.C., native may have just given us our next favorite meme. During Sen. Ted Cruz’s opening statement, Jackson’s facial expression was the epitome of unimpressed.

Instead of using his time to address the question at hand, Jackson’s candidacy, Cruz decided to complain about his democratic counterparts being “anti-democracy,” the modern role of the Supreme Court and the confirmation process, The Washington Post reports.

“Starting in the 1960s and the 1970s, the Supreme Court’s role in our society changed dramatically,” Cruz said during the hearing, according to The Washington Post. “The Supreme Court became a policy making body, rather than a merely judicial body.”

He went on to criticize Democrats and mention past Republican nominees who’s Supreme Court nomination was not confirmed.

Throughout the entire diatribe, Jackson appeared to be unamused and, judging by her powerful and sly smile, unbothered. And viewers on Twitter were living for it.

“Judge Jackson waiting for Ted Cruz tirade to end,” one viewer tweeted.

“Ted Cruz asked Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson ‘Do you like beer?’ Her face says it all. She isn’t taking any sh*t and I love it.” Another user added.

Actress Yvette Nicole Brown even entered the chat.

“This is the face of a Black woman ALREADY over the shenanigans,” she wrote on Twitter. “It’s also the face of a Black woman already formulating how she is going to handle all this hot garbage. She is BUILT for this, WE are built for this.”

We can think of infinite ways Jackson’s face during Cruz’s opening statement could be used as a meme. The opportunities are endless, and they’ll probably start taking over your timelines sooner rather than later.
