Kevin Hart’s son Hendrix just became a legal adult, and his father’s birthday tribute shocked fans. Hart, who shares two children with his ex-wife, Torrei Hart, from their eight-year marriage that ended in 2011: 20-year-old Heaven and now 18-year-old Hendrix.
Hart’s children were introduced to the public at a very young age, especially after the release of his 2011 comedy special Laugh at My Pain, which catapulted him into stardom. He posted a slideshow of photos on Instagram to wish Hendrix a happy birthday. The first flick was a family photo featuring all of Hart’s children.
“The big 18…. Woooooow. God has truly blessed me. I am nothing without my kids…. Doo I am beyond proud of you son. Such an amazing man you are,” Hart captioned his post. “A great son/brother/nephew/friend ….. you make us all proud …. We love u so damn much kid. The sky is the limit for you… Keep going KING!!!!!! According to the Mirror, Hart revealed that he is 5’5″ in an interview with Anderson Cooper for the TV show 60 Minutes. Given Hart’s height and Torrei’s 5’6″ stature, peers and fans were surprised to see how tall Hendrix is compared to his dad.
“Kev is still the Biggest Hart but Du is most certainly the Tallest 🎉🎂 Happy 18th 🥂,” actor Jaleel White wrote.
“Omgggg he’s grown so much!” media personality Jessie Woo commented.

A few days later, Torrei published an Instagram post with a couple of photos to give Hendrix birthday wishes, sharing some qualities she adores about her son.
“I’m a couple days late but happy 18th bday to my amazing, talented, handsome, athletic, smart son @hennyshteez11/08 I can’t wait to see how your bright future unfolds. I love you son. 😇 Please help me wish my boy an amazing bday!!!”
Hendrix’s stepmom Eniko, who’s been in his life since he was young, also shouted him out.
“Happy birthday du!” she wrote. “18 is truly a big deal, we are ALL so proud of the young man that you’re becoming. You’ve grown into someone so amazing! This is just the beginning of your incredible journey. Keep shining, keep dreaming, and most importantly keep being YOU! We LOVE YOU! 🎉🩶”
