Lauren London, the longtime girlfriend of late rapper Nipsey Hussle, took to Instagram Tuesday to pay her respects to her lover with the most heartwrenching tribute.
"I am completely lost," she wrote, in what is her first public statement following Hussle's death on Sunday. London and Hussle have been inseparable since 2013 after meeting on Instagram.
She gave birth to his son, Kross Asghedom, in 2016, completing a family unit that included Hussle's 7-year-old daughter, Emani, and London's 9-year-old son with Lil Wayne, Cameron Carter.
"I’ve lost my best friend, My sanctuary, My protector, My soul….I’m lost without you, We are lost without you babe, I have no words," she wrote.
Fans worldwide continue to mourn for Hussle, born Ermias Asghedom, after the 33-year-old died from fatal gunshot wounds to the head and torso on Sunday. Police have since arrested Eric Holder, 29, in connection with the rapper's death.
While Holder is reportedly a member of a gang, the Los Angeles Police Department believes the tragic shooting stemmed from a personal dispute he had with the Grammy-nominated rapper. Two other victims in the shooting were taken to the hospital and listed in critical conditions.
