A nice clip from a doc we've been following, titled Usain Bolt: The Movie, a 2-part, 2-hour long documentary (first half is called The Fastest Man Alive, the second, as of our last post, will be called The Legend) that centers on the track phenom whose name is in the title.

As noted in a previous post, the doc, a French/British co-production, which follows Usain as he prepares for this year's Olympics, where he will defend his crown, was picked up by BBC1 and, as I learned this morning, part 1 (The Fastest Man Alive) will be released on DVD, VOD and digital download on August 6 – but only in the UK right now; although, with Olympics fever sweeping much of the globe, I'd expect the film to be made available in other parts of the world soon thereafter, especially as track and field events begin tomorrow, August 3.

Director Gael Leiblang was granted exclusive rights to follow Bolt around for over a year, filming him as he prepared for the London 2012 Olympics –  intimately, in his home environment with his relatives, friends and coach – all of which makes up the first hour (or part 1); Leiblang also apparently continues to follow Bolt up to and through his competition at the 2012 Olympics, as Bolt prepares for the games, and will eventually participate in them through next week – material that will be in the second hour, or part 2.
