LeBron James, who has already built a school in Akron, Ohio, now plans to add a medical facility in his hometown. The LeBron James Foundation revealed the plans in a statement on Tuesday, CBS News reports. According to the statement, the I Promise HealthQuarters will be a multimillion-dollar facility offering various services to students from James’ I Promise School and the Akron community.

The health center, set to open in 2023, will partner with various local health providers to offer medical, dental, optometry and mental heath support as well as on-site pharmacy and lab services. The facility will be located within walking distance from the I Promise School.

“Access to affordable health care has always been a critical need for our families – and further heightened by the pandemic – so we began rallying our community to bring the experts together under one trusted roof,” Michele Campbell, executive director of the LeBron James Family Foundation, told CBS News. “Being able to provide this important resource for the entire community is only possible because we have incredible partners that share our We Are Family philosophy.”

James still has many more plans beyond basketball. In a recent episode of The Shop, the NBA superstar said he wants to own a team in Las Vegas.

James opened his I Promise School in 2018, aiming to uplift at-risk students and families in Akron.
