Lil Nas X was utterly amazed when meeting one of his celebrity idols, Anne Hathaway.
The singer crossed paths with the talented actress at Wednesday’s Versace Fall 2023 show in Los Angeles. Following the star-studded event — attended by everyone from Miley Cyrus to Elton John — Lil Nas X ran into Hathaway and had a sweet exchange caught on camera.
“I’m so happy you know who I am, I can’t believe you know who I am,” the “Industry Baby” hitmaker told the actor. She then complimented his outfit: a crop top with crystal embellishments, a leather skirt and knee-high boots.
“This old thing?” the rapper told her.
Lil Nas X and the Devil Wears Prada star then posed for some photos before he expressed admiration for the seasoned Hollywood starlet.
“Oh my God, it’s so amazing to meet you. Thank you so much for everything that you’ve done. Oh my god, I wish you nothing but more love and success in the future,” he said as they held hands before saying their goodbyes.
The video, shared by Karla Martinez de Salas, head of editorial content at Vogue Mexico and Latin America, has since gone viral, amassing over 1 million views.
