Lil Nas X's older brother asks that Nicki Minaj-Petty extends the same olive branch to his little brother, born Montero Lamar Hill, as she has with the City Girls.

Robert Sleepy, Lil Nas X’s older brother, took to his Twitter account and directly asked the platinum-selling rapper to forgive his brother in multiple tweets. Sleepy, who goes by @BigBroSleepyX on Twitter, mentioned that his brother has always been a fan of Nicki and hopes they can work together for the culture.

The gesture didn't sit with the Barbz, who abruptly camped out in the mentions of Sleepy's tweet, disagreeing with the sentiments.

Nicki fans haven't been too kind to Lil Nas X after the singer initially denied running a Nicki Minaj fan account before his fame.

Nas revealed—at the time—that he was afraid of what would happen if he came out as gay and wasn't sure how to admit he was a Barb. Regardless, Sleepy affirmed that his brother has always been a fan of Nicki, and he deserves a collaboration with the "Anaconda" rapper because he is a hard worker.

"I watched my brother grow up loving Nicki. I personally believe if he can have one feat from anybody, it would be her," Sleepy said. "he deserves it; he worked his ass off to get to where he at."

Lil Nas X admitted last November that both Nicki and her labelmate and long-time friend Drake had previously declined his offer of a feature on his debut album "Montero."

Nas X told GQ magazine that even though he doesn't ask for features, he wanted Nicki and Drake to be a part of his album.

"I don't usually ask for features like that. But for every feature I did ask for on this album, like, every single one of them worked besides Drake and Nicki [Minaj]," Nas X said. "I didn't ask them directly. I wanted Nicki on 'Industry Baby.'"

Later, the rapper clarified that Jack Harlow replaced the "Queen" on the track.

"I wanted Drake on 'Dolla Sign Slime,' with Megan [Thee Stallion]," Nas X said. "Yeah, but you know, I feel like things always work out. Jack Harlow ended up being, like, the best option. I'm not sure how comfortable Nicki would have felt with that video or whatnot."

Even if Nicki isn't ready to forgive Lil Nas X, she has forgiven the rap duo City Girls even though she has no plans on working with them. According to Complex, on Feb. 2, Nicki shared that she and the rap group have settled their differences on her Twitter account with almost 24 million followers.

"Just had a great convo with @ThegirlJT & @YungMiami305," Nicki tweeted. "Let's move on & make new memories y'all."

Both City Girls members, JT, born Jatavia Shakara Johnson, and Yung Miami, born Caresha Romeka Brownlee, quote-tweeted Nicki with JT thanking Nicki for her time and advice.

However, before making amends, Nicki appeared on the morning radio show, "The Morning Hustle," she didn't answer favorably about ever working with the "Twerkulator" duo—who have mentioned wanting to work with her multiple times.

When asked if she would ever work with the City Girls, Nicki reminded the hosts that the group once spoke badly about her in an interview.

"Well…I don't know," Nicki said. "What I will say is that a few years ago, I saw a video of them, and I asked someone on their team at that time, I asked someone about them, like 'oh my god, I heard them and I saw this video' I was thinking about jumping on a record—one of the records that was out at the time."

"And then social media happened. Social media happened when you know people will say things about someone like an artist," she continued.m"Whether they tweet it or say it, or whether it gets pulled out of them in an interview or something like that. And the thing is, whenever you post something on the internet, it's there forever. Whenever you say something in an interview, it's there forever."

She then explains that she doesn't need to work with people who don't like her.

"If I was about to go out to dinner with you tonight and then I get something that says 'oh she don't really f*** with you like that. She was saying this, and she don't really like you, and she said she hopes you never pop or never flourish; I'm not going to go out to dinner with you anymore because now I know that I like you, but you don't really like me," Nicki said. "That's just a human way to feel if you hear someone—if you hear somebody was saying things about you. Not just one thing, but repeated things—repeated tweets for years. Why would I work with somebody that doesn't like me?"

City Girls down 1,000 points. Although the City Girls and Lil Nas X may never collaborate with Nicki, a possible collaboration between the rap duo and the “Industry Baby” rapper is not out of the question.
