The fashion icon Lil Nas X swept New York Fashion Week with a carousel of well-curated outfits this week. The “Montero” artist walked the runway in the 2022 Coach show, but this year he showed up to stunt as a guest, and these are our favorites.

Thom Browne

Lil Nas X looked fabulous rolling up to the Thom Browne 2023 show in a long dark green paisley blazer-like dress, a white button-down underneath, a matching green paisley dog-shaped purse, black stockings, black loafers, silver studded circle-shaped shades and Bantu knots to complete the look. Lil Nas X ate this outfit, from the details in the paisley designs to the chic hairstyle.

Coach

Without doing too much, Lil Nas X’s red furry number at the Coach fashion show pulled on the resemblance of ’90s Busta Rhymes style of vibrant colors and up-do styled locs. Lil Nas X wore a two-toned pink and red turtleneck, light denim boot-cut jeans featuring red teddy fur at the base of the pant leg, a red leather Coach bag, red teddy boots, and had his locs styled in a 4-part up-do.

Christian Cowan

When he arrived at the Christian Cowan 2023 show in a dramatically large pink and bejeweled feathered headdress, Lil Nas X ensured all eyes were on him. From head to toe, he was laced — wearing a satin lavender blazer that he left open to show off his chest, a blush pink satin slack, metallic silver platform-heeled booties, gems on his face for added drama, and unwavering confidence to seal this look.

LaQuan Smith

Lil Nas X pulled out all the looks for our imagination to run crazy. He sat front row next to Teyana Taylor at LaQuan Smith’s show wearing a one-shoulder leather burgundy crop, dark grey slacks, the matching leather burgundy trench coat and styled his locs in a high pony. It gives a dark and lovely reimagined Matrix character.

OTA

Closing out his week of fire looks, he dropped by Open To All Entertainment on Valentine’s, a space of inclusivity that celebrates vogue and ballroom culture. Lil Nas X showed up in a comfy but always cute outfit wearing a multicolor oversized shearling jacket with blocks of yellow, green and red, big oversized denim cargo jeans, and black platform sneakers.

Lil Nas X has been on the fashion radar since his early career stages, leading him to become the fashion icon he is now. He spoke with Vogue magazine about his hand in the fashion world, sharing he would launch a clothing line.

“Of course. I definitely want to start my own line. I want to bring something brand new to the industry. I don’t know exactly what that is yet, but when we get there, I know that everybody’s gonna love it,” he told Vogue.

Now that New York Fashion Week is ending, who was your favorite fashionista?
