Lil Poppa, a Florida rapper who has released several songs in recent years, has died at age 25. According to 11 Alive, the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed that Lil Poppa was found dead in Fulton County on Wednesday.

The details of Lil Poppa’s death are still not known. However, the medical examiner’s office said the investigation of his death is still pending. The 25-year-old was planning to perform in New Orleans in March. He released his latest single, “Out of Town Bae,” on Friday, Complex reported. The rising star posted the song on his Instagram.
Hours before his death, Lil Poppa also went to his Instagram story to post a song about finding peace of mind.
What were some of Lil Poppa’s notable accomplishments in recent years?
In 2022, Lil Poppa signed to Yo Gotti’s Collective Music Group (CMG), Complex reported. That deal came after the success of his mixtape series, Under Investigation. He released the last installment of Under Investigation 3 in 2022.
The Florida artist released other albums in the following years. One of his albums, Almost Normal Again, includes the tracks “Bout My Respect” and “Myself Again.” Some of Lil Poppa other hit songs include “Love & War,” “Mind Over Matter,” and “HAPPY TEARS,” TMZ reported. Almost Normal Again also featured collaborations with Yungeen Ace, Mozzy and several other artists.
Following the release of his 2025 album, Lil Poppa launched the Almost Normal Again Tour. The 25-year-old also joined one of his collaborators, Rod Wave, on the Last Lap Tour.
