Lil Uzi Vert will spare him jail time in connection with his assault case involving his ex-girlfriend Brittany Byrd and fellow rapper SAINt JHN.

TMZ reports the Philadelphia rapper has been sentenced to three years of probation, one year of mental health and substance abuse treatment, 52 weeks of domestic violence counseling. He also must pay restitution and comply with a 10-year criminal protective order.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office confirmed that Uzi Vert pled no contest to one count of felony assault with a firearm and one count of misdemeanor injury to his ex-girlfriend. Uzi reached the plea deal after initially being charged with three felonies: assault with a firearm, criminal threats, and domestic violence, as well as a misdemeanor charge of carrying a loaded gun.

In July, Uzi allegedly jumped out of a Cadillac Escalade and confronted SAINt JHN, Carlos St. John Phillips, at the Dialog Cafe in West Hollywood, leading to a physical altercation. Sources close to Byrd said she was discussing a business project with JHN when Uzi confronted everyone at their table.

Uzi attempted to punch JHN but missed. When Uzi fell, his gun fell to the ground. Afterward, Byrd got up from the table and approached Uzi, and he allegedly shoved the gun into her stomach and struck her. Everyone left the scene shortly afterward, according to TMZ.

Shortly after the incident, Byrd reportedly filed a police report at the West Hollywood Sheriff's substation.

Last week, after releasing a snippet of an upcoming song, Uzi Vert received criticism for a series of odd tweets. The "XO Tour Llif3" rapper took to Twitter to announce that he was bleaching his skin.

As Uzi was commenting about bleaching his skin, he briefly changed his Twitter profile picture to a picture of Michael Jackson, alluding to discredited rumors that he had bleached his skin during his lifetime. He later changed his profile to a picture of Vybz Kartel, a famous dancehall artist who bleached his skin in 2018 and is currently serving a life sentence for murder.

"Don't fucking test me," Uzi tweeted in response to a fan who called his bluff regarding bleaching.

Aside from his new legal troubles, if Uzi's claims on bleaching his skin are true, he will be the latest in a long list of stars who have been linked to skin bleaching, including Lil Kim, Tamar Braxton, Blac Chyna, Rihanna, among others.
