Sometimes, you have stunt and let ’em know. That’s exactly what Shedeur Sanders, son of Jackson State University head football coach Deion Sanders, is doing with his brand-new piece of jewelry.

Shedeur uploaded a video showing off the chain, designed by Saki Diamonds, this past Thursday. It features a dollar sign raised to the second power (an exponentiated dollar sign). This is a reference to his initials, and it’s also the trademark of his fashion line, SS2.

Saki notes that the pendent is 28.2 carats, according to TMZ. On top of this, the Cuban link chain is 43.5 carats.

“It’s a HUGE piece!” Saki told TMZ. “Most pro athletes or people in the music industry don’t have a piece like this.”

While seemingly unrelated to his new piece of jewelry, it appears as if Shedeur referenced his propensity for going all-out with his fashion choices in a tweet made last week: “If [you’re] gonna do it then DO IT.”

Shedeur also showed out with various custom cleats that he donned throughout the 2021 football season, as Blavity previously reported.

These cleats were designed by Dez Zambrano and Mohammed Gafar, who runs DEZ Customz Art and Kreative Custom Kicks. While most of the shoes are JSU-themed, one pair notably paid homage to Young Dolph.

“I basically searched online for a picture that represented him the best,” Gafar said of the design process, according to Andscape. “That image I found was straight on and detailed, and I knew it would be good. I wanted the artist on the outside [of the cleat] so it would get the most views, and I wanted legendary on the side of Dolph because it pertains to him, because so many people loved him and loved his music.”
