Lizzo has come a long way in her career, and as she continues to grow as an artist, she’s taking stock of how far she’s come. The “Truth Hurts” singer posted a picture of her first arena tour next to a picture of a more recent performance on Twitter and thanked fans for their support.

“My first arena tour… I’m definitely gonna cry… Im not the girl I was or used to be… b***h I might be better. Because of you. Thank you,” the Grammy-winning singer tweeted.

 

The first picture of Lizzo shows the singer early in her career with her hands in the air as she puts on a show at an outdoor venue. In a second picture, Lizzo is seen in a multicolored wig and matching outfit, appearing to be performing for thousands of fans.

Viewers in the replies praised the singer and shared how much they appreciate her and have supported her over the years.

“I saw you open for Sleater-Kinney in 2015. Look at you now,” one user wrote, attaching a screenshot of their Instagram post of the performance.

“Seeing you in a small amphitheater to being able to see you in an arena is so exciting,” another replied.

Several commenters referenced Lizzo’s upcoming tour, The Special Tour, featuring rapper Latto, Variety reports. The highly anticipated tour will kick off on Sept. 23 in Florida and end in November, making stops in New York City and Los Angeles, among other cities.

 

It’s been a big week for Lizzo, who’s been out on the town celebrating her 34th birthday, People reports. The singer was spotted out in West Hollywood in a sparkly black slip dress with her boyfriend, whose identity has been kept under wraps.
