After noticing her TikTok views were much lower than usual, Lizzo is deciding she will no longer share clips of her electrifying live performances on the popular app.

The “About Damn Time” singer is back on the road after canceling several shows of The Special Tour due to testing positive for strep throat earlier this month. Happy to be back on stage, Lizzo uploaded a snippet from her stop in Baltimore, which marked her first show since taking a break. “GUESS WHOS BACK??? Thank you Baltimore,” she captioned her TikTok post before sharing the same clip on Instagram.

After noticing a huge difference in engagement, she stitched together a follow-up video and posted it on TikTok the same night with a caption that read, “deleting this but this app getting wack 🍅.” In the clip, footage from the previous video she shared from her Baltimore show plays before Lizzo discloses her theory about being shadowbanned. “I’m officially shadowbanned, because how did I post this on Instagram and it already has 135,000 views?” she asked her fans.

It makes a lot of sense given that Lizzo boasts nearly 30 million TikTok followers compared to her 13 million on Instagram. Her fans seemed to agree with the four-time Grammy winner. “I’m definitely seeing you less on here and I don’t like it,” one person wrote, whereas another commented, “This was the first vid I’ve seen of you on my fyp in weeks.”

Yesterday, while thanking a fan who attended her show in Raleigh, North Carolina, Lizzo further commented on TikTok’s algorithm, saying, “I’m not posting tour footage on this app no more ’cause it’s underappreciated, but I will respond to your comment. Thank you!”

It’s safe to say Lizzo isn’t stressing over it and has moved on to the next. An unbothered queen!
