Lupita Nyong’o is showing love for her Mexican roots.

The actress is celebrating the release of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever in Mexico, where she was born, Hola reports. To ring in her arrival, she posted a TikTok of her lip-synching to Juan Gabriel’s “Me Gusta Estar Contigo.” In the clip, the Kenyan Mexican shows off her flawless makeup and dances while singing along to the lyrics in her hotel bathroom.

“México!! Estoy aquí! Una canción para ti!” she wrote in the caption, letting her fans know that she’s touched down in Mexico and the song is dedicated to them.

After Nyong’o recorded and shared the video, she was spotted out and about in her native land. The star went viral after she showed off her smooth moves with her costar Tenoch Huerta at the premiere of Wakanda: Por Siempre. In the clip, the pair are seen dancing to “Suavemente,” giving the crowd a taste of their merengue skills, much to their delight.
