Multi-platform media company MACRO, founded by Charles D. King in 2015, has just announced that this year, they'll be hosting the third annual MACRO x HBCU Entertainment Summit as an in-person micro-festival in Atlanta, GA. The event, which will be held on Saturday, October 23 in Atlanta's Atlantic Station, will include appearances by Aunjanue Ellis, Prentice Penny, Nicole Ari Parker, Nicco Annan, Young Nudy and Stephen "Dr." Love,  as well as a variety of events such as panel discussions, a pitch competition, giveaways, and film screenings.

The MACRO x HBCU Entertainment Summit is open to Atlanta-area students and alumni from Clark Atlanta University, Morehouse College, Morris Brown College and Spelman College. Aspiring media and entertainment professionals are also welcome to attend. For HBCU students who are not local, or unable to attend, the event will be live-streamed on TikTok, beginning at 12 noon EST.
