nullEverybody’s in the content production/distribution game now it seems.

nullEven the hotel chain, Marriott International, is now getting into the game, via its own content studio, announcing, today, a third round of industry-first content development, production, and distribution deals. The company’s goal here is to, as the press release states, "fuel Marriott International’s content marketing strategy of creating content that informs, entertains, and adds value to travel lifestyle consumers," with plans to publish, distribute and share digital content across multiple platforms and on all screens.

nullThe latest deals include an announcement of the casting and start of production for a film called "Two Bellmen," produced in collaboration with renowned dance, parkour, extreme sports, martial arts, and music collective, Substance Over Hype, and directed by Daniel "Malakai" Cabrera.

"Two Bellmen," which will feature the landmark JW Marriott Los Angeles L.A. LIVE as a "character" in the film, starts production January 5, 2015, with a cast that includes Henry Simmons, Miles Brown aka Baby Boogaloo (from ABC’s "Black-ish"), Sophina Brown (from "The Good Wife"), Stephen "tWitch" Boss, noted B-boy dancer Josue "Beastmode" Figueroa, Josue Antonio, and Taryn Southern.

nullThe film’s story follows the titular two bellmen, as they attempt to prevent a heist at a private art event they are working.

They are joined by William Spencer and Caine Sinclair who play the Bellmen.

No word on what roles the other actors will play.

The film will also feature cameos by AMP Live, Scarub, and Fingazz.
