As if the world had not already been in tune with the eye-catching, entertaining gestures and antics of NFL player Marshawn Lynch over the years, the opinionated athlete has come forward with a new, yet arguably common, shared public announcement, by way of fashion. On Sunday, a tweet hit the internet depicting Marshawn in a ravishing "Everybody vs. Trump" t-shirt, 45's last name dripping in that gooey orange ink that reminds you of all the horror stories we grew up on. Befitting, don't you think?
Lynch has always been an "actions speak louder than words" sort of man. From the time he kept it short and sweet during the post-game interviews, with the famed "I'm thankful" response, to the countless times he's sat during the national anthem. We know that Marshawn is no stranger to expressing himself, whether agreeable or not. Most times, though, we are on his side; today is one of those days.
For all of those wondering where and how we too can rock the controversial tee, here’s our opportunity. The shirt was created by Dope Era clothing brand, owned by Oakland rapper and community activist Mistah F.A.B. The shirts are available now for purchase at the North Oakland based storefront, as well as online.
Kudos to Marshawn for always taking a stance, and making it look sexy. Continue to put on, for the culture.
