Rep. Maxine Waters is reminding the world that she correctly predicted the fate of former president Donald Trump.
Waters sat down with MSNBC’s Jonathan Capehart on Saturday and pulled the receipts on the predictions she made about Trump, who now faces more than 30 counts related to business fraud according to CNN.
“I feel the justice is being served. This president has gotten away with some of the most ridiculous actions, I think he’s violated the constitution, I think he really does not care about our democracy,” Waters told Capehart. “And I think that is time for him to have to be held accountable. And so justice is being served.”
Waters also went to Twitter on Friday to remind the world that she had seen Trump’s indictment coming.
“SO Trump finally got indicted!” she tweeted. “I predicted he would and I predicted that Stormy Daniels would get him! Sometimes justice works!”

According to CNN, Trump is accused of paying adult film star Stormy Daniels before the 2016 presidential election, hoping to stop her from going public about an alleged affair he had a decade earlier.
