The latest film in the slasher horror franchise X has added several cast members including Moses Sumney, Giancarlo Esposito, Halsey and Elizabeth Debicki.
MaXXXine is set to kick off filming this month and will star Mia Goth as she is reprising one of her role in the franchise.
According to an official description, the third installment will follow
Maxine (Goth) after the events of X is the sole survivor continuing her journey toward fame as an actress in 1980s Los Angeles.
The newly-announced ensemble cast includes:
Elizabeth Debicki (The Crown, Guardians of the Galaxy), musician Moses Sumney (The Idol), Michelle Monaghan (Nanny), Bobby Cannavale (The Watcher), actor and producer Lily Collins (Emily in Paris), award winning artist Halsey, Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad) and Kevin Bacon.
MaXXXine is written and directed by Ti West. A24, Jacob Jaffke, Ti West, Goth, Kevin Turen and Harrison Kreiss serve as producers.
