Riding a dirt bike landed Meek Mill in jail five months ago, but for his triumphant return on the Summer Jam stage, he rode a dirt bike as part of his performance.

The Philly emcee performed at Hot 97 Summer Jam on Sunday, June 10, and he marked the occasion by riding an ATV onto the stage, reports Vulture.

Meek was arrested in August 2017 after the New York Police Department caught him riding dirt bikes with his crew thanks to an Instagram video. Participating in this activity sent Meek to prison for violating the terms of his parole.

After being sent to prison in November 2017, the rapper was released in April after months of pleas from numerous celebrities including Jay-Z, Rick Ross and Kevin Hart.

The “We Ball” rapper did not shy away from shading the NYPD and declared he wouldn’t lose his freedom again.

“Last time I was in New York with a motherfucking bike, I lost my freedom,” he said. “This time we not going back to jail.”

He reportedly rode the ATV to the venue and offstage.

Live your best life, Meek.
