Friends of Jeffery Williams, better known as Young Thug, are speaking out in defense of his character amid negative stories that are floating around, and one of those friends is Meek Mill.
Young Thug is currently being held behind bars with no bail as he awaits trial in his RICO case in the state of Georgia.
He has pleaded not guilty to an indictment containing 65 counts, six of which apply to Williams. In total, 28 people were charged, including rap artist Gunna, whose name is Sergio Kitchens.
In a recent series of tweets, the Mill shared a story about how the “Best Friend” rapper helped out a young man who was having a hard time in juvenile detention.
“It was a kid that was keeping his lights on at a detention center and kept getting in trouble … we found out he was being raped by his uncle at night so he wanted the lights on …I called thug he stayed on the phone with him til sun up on ft!” the “Dreams and Nightmares” rapper tweeted.
