Tory Lanez was due in court earlier today for a pre-trial hearing over the notorious Megan Thee Stallion shooting case, which dates way back to July 2020.

While the only thing that came out of the hearing was the matter getting postponed until April, various "false narratives" soon began circulating, with DJ Akademiks posting a now-deleted tweet in which he claimed Tory Lanez's DNA wasn't found on the weapon involved in the shooting.

Shortly after this tweet, the statement was widely blasted as "fake news." Megan Thee Stallion even took to Instagram to blast DJ Akademiks and set the record straight.

In turn, DJ Akademiks doubled down on his claims and said that Megan Thee Stallion should be checking the District Attorney, not him.

"Meg gotta call the DA and ask em if it's true. I don't know why she up on here taggin me in posts like I just be making shit up," he tweeted.

The pair continued to go back and forth, with Megan sharing responses through her Instagram Story while DJ Akademiks stuck to Twitter. You can check out some of his statements down below.

While there is plenty of drama between Megan Thee Stallion and DJ Akademiks, they aren't the only ones to beef over the matter. Tory Lanez inserted himself into the conversation by seemingly subtweeting Megan, writing, "u can't buy and tweet your way out of this one.. not today."

In response, Megan's boyfriend—Pardison Fontaine—jumped in and called Tory Lanez out on Twitter.

"@torylanez put the phone dwn let's link.. u n me.. ain't nothin to talk about," he tweeted.

Megan had a few last words for DJ Akademiks for his premature report examining the pre-trial hearing and DNA evidence in the case.

While Megan, Pardi, and Tory have essentially fallen silent for the time being, DJ Akademiks is still actively discussing the matter on Twitter and doubling down on his claims.
