Megan Thee Stallion was subjected to an awkward semi-interview when she attended the Formula 1 U.S. Grand Prix on Sunday. The "WAP" rapper was walking with her entourage at the event when she was approached by Sky News reporter Martin Brundle, ET Canada reports

Megan chuckled as the journalist chased her down and asked if she has any raps about Formula 1.

“I have no rap today, I’m sorry,” she said while laughing.

Brundle tried to proceed with his questioning as the artist kept walking.

"Who do you support in the race?" he asked.

The reporter was then shoved away by a member of Megan's team. After Megan's bodyguard told the journalist that he "can't do that," Brundle answered back by saying, "I can do that because I did."

“She seemed very happy to talk, didn’t she,” the reporter said while walking away. “That’s very nice of her, and I appreciate that.”

Social media users weren't surprised to see the awkward interview from Brundle, who is known for making celebrities feel uncomfortable.

While some found the exchange comical, others thought it to be cringeworthy.

A few social media users said Megan's entourage was being rude to the reporter.

Brundle had a similar encounter with Serena Williams at Sunday's event.

“Venus (Williams) wasn’t that keen to talk to me five years ago, I don’t know if I’ll get a double fault or an ace,” the journalist said before approaching Serena, according to Meaww.

He then introduced himself and asked the tennis star for an interview.

“Serena, are you good for a chat? Martin Brundle, British TV,” he said.

But Serena ignored the request and continued to walk forward.

“It’s a double fault, it’s a double fault,” the journalist said after being rejected.
