Megan Thee Stallion isn’t just a great rapper but she’s also a great person.
A fan shared a photo of himself, his cousin, Cyril Briscoe, and the “Big Ole Freak” rapper on Twitter and shared some heartbreaking news.
“So my cousin was in love with Megan Thee Stallion and was killed last night after leaving the club to see her, hopefully she see’s this,” wrote user GinaWitDaNina.
Briscoe was killed in a drive-by shooting, according to The Washington Post. He died of a gunshot wound to the head while riding in a car with other people. No one else was hurt.
Meg saw the tweet and sent her condolences.

“I’m so sorry for your [loss],” she replied. “His energy was amazing when we met.”
Her kindness didn’t stop there. Megan slid into Gina’s DMs and offered her assistance.
Gina eventually created a GoFundMe page for her cousin and Megan gave her $1200 toward the cause.
She also offered more funds in case the crowdfunding campaign comes up short.
Thus far, the GoFundMe has raised over $4600 of its $15K goal.
