Megan Thee Stallion has been missing in action since last fall, so it’s no surprise there was excitement for her first red carpet appearance at the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party.

On Sunday, Megan hit the red carpet in a stunning long, black gown while rocking her natural hair. She was a sight for sore eyes since it was her first time in public since her hiatus following the trial with Canadian singer Tory Lanez where he was found guilty of shooting the “WAP” rapper.

Lanez faces up to 22 years in prison and is awaiting sentencing in April.

The Hot Girl Coach flicked it up at the party with Oscar-nominated Black Panther: Wakanda Forever actress Angela Bassett, Bassett’s husband, actor Courtney B. Vance, and their two children.

The three-time Grammy winner is happy to be back outside and shared the news she would headline the AT&T Block Party, one of the many festivities happening at the NCAA’s 2023 March Madness Music Festival.

The festival will be during the men’s Final Four weekend from March 31 to April 2 at Discovery Green, a 12-acre park and events center in downtown Houston.

The block party will kick off the weekend and be the H-Town hottie’s first performance of the year. She said she’s ready to see her fans again and happy to be in the comfort of the city that raised her.

“There’s no place I’d rather be for my first performance of the year than my hometown of Houston. The AT&T Block Party Concert is gonna be such a vibe, and I can’t wait to get back on stage in the city where it all began. I’m looking forward to seeing my Hotties and putting on an unforgettable show for them,” the 28-year-old said in a statement, according to The Jasmine Brand.

Tim McGraw, Lil Nax X, Keith Urban and Maggie Rogers are other artists that music fans can look forward to seeing over the weekend.

The Hotties wasted no time registering for Megan’s concert, as it’s already sold out.
