Megan Thee Stallion is continuing to open up about the ongoing alleged shooting involving Tory Lanez, and she wants everyone to know her whole truth.

In a brand-new interview with Rolling Stone, Megan Thee Stallion is speaking out about the ordeal.

She initially spoke about how blindsided she was by the whole situation, saying she and Lanez shared “a real connection” at first.

“I thought he knew me. And I never would’ve thought he would’ve shot at me at all,” Megan said.

“I never put my hands on this man,” she added, referencing the infamous night in question. “I never did anything to him. There was an argument. People argue every day. Friends argue every day.”

The “Hot Girl Summer” rapper further addressed Lanez while also taking aim at Kelsey Nicole, her former best friend who was with the pair during the alleged shooting.

Megan says that Kelsey, whom she doesn’t speak with anymore, linked up with Lanez just days after the incident.

“I’m like, ‘Kelsey, as my best friend, why would you meet up with the person you saw shoot your best friend?'” Megan recalled. “This girl told me out her mouth, ‘He told me, “Oh, thank you for not saying nothing. Now let me invest in your business. Let me do this. Let me do that.'”

Megan Thee Stallion also detailed her journey to healing.

“What nobody knows is, I had to get the surgery the same night. I stayed in the hospital in California for maybe four days,” she said.

“Then I was in New York for a while. Both of my legs wrapped up. I could not walk. I still have bullet fragments in my feet right now,” Megan continued. “I was very scared that I was not able to be Megan Thee Stallion no more. And I was f**ked up.”

She also noted that she continues to struggle with nightmares from the ordeal, as well as a bit of “shame.”

Thee Stallion then proceeded to address her bewilderment over how some people have responded to her opening up about the incident.

“In some kind of way, I became the villain. And I don’t know if people don’t take it seriously because I seem strong. I wonder if it’s because of the way I look,” she pondered. “Is it because I’m not light enough? Is it that I’m not white enough? Am I not the shape? The height? Because I’m not petite? Do I not seem like I’m worth being treated like a woman?”

“I’m trying every day to get through it and be good. I feel so bad because I don’t feel like anybody’s taking me seriously, but I don’t want them to see me cry. I don’t want them to know that I feel like this, because I don’t want them to feel like, ‘Oh, I got you. I’m breaking you.”

Regardless of how people feel about the matter, Megan is unwaveringly making her stance clear.

“I want him to go to jail,” Megan straightforwardly said of Tory Lanez. “I want him to go under the jail.”

As Blavity previously reported, the situation unfolded back during the summer of 2020. Following a run-in with law enforcement in mid-July, Lanez was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon while Megan Thee Stallion was treated for “an injury to her foot,” though this was initially blamed on broken glass.

However, Megan eventually blasted Lanez and accused him of shooting her, though he proclaimed his innocence. The pair have been at odds over the allegation ever since then, and it has polarized members of the hip-hop community.

Notably, Lanez was penalized back in April for violating Megan’s protective order against him, and the “Hot Girl Summer” rapper recounted the incident during a sit-down with Gayle King shortly after.
