Celebrities strutted along the red carpet at this year’s Met Gala with some of the most creative and eye-catching looks. The Spring 2023 exhibition theme was “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty” to honor the late German designer and his signature black-and-white fashion trend.

Vogue’s Anna Wintour served as one of the co-chairs for the event and requested stars to follow the dress code “In honor of Karl” for the opening of The Costume Institute’s spring collection. According to the magazine, the display will be available from May 5 to July 16. Other co-chairs for the event include Michaela Coel, Penélope Cruz, Roger Federer and Dua Lipa.
