Michael B. Jordan’s acceptance speech at the MTV Movie And TV Awards was hilarious with a side of shade.

Jordan accepted the award for Best Villain for his portrayal of Erik Killmonger in Black Panther but jokingly stated he was slightly thrown aback by his victory as he believed a special someone probably deserved it more.

“I’m shocked that I won this award for best villain,” Jordan kidded. “I thought for sure Roseanne had that in the bag.”

Barr’s Roseanne reboot was canceled last month after she compared former Obama administration advisor Valerie Jarrett to an ape.

The Creed star also teased the fan who wore co-star Chadwick Boseman out with their “Wakanda Forever” salutes and the meme that followed.

“Chadwick Boseman personally asked me to ask y’all to stop asking him to say ‘Wakanda Forever’ out on the streets,” Jordan said as Boseman cracked up in the audience. “Y’all taking the forever thing a little too seriously.”
