In a rare interview with Good Morning Britain, Michael Jackson’s youngest son, Blanket Jackson, who goes by “Bigi” now, discussed how he and his siblings were carrying on the legacy of his late father.
During the interview, Bigi took viewers on a tour, showcasing some of his father’s most prized possessions, such as his iconic red jacket from the “Thriller” music video.
“There’s a lot of really cool stuff here. I think there’s a lot of history in this house and studio here,” Bigi said regarding the moments from Michael’s life. “That’s what he was all about.”
Bigi also discussed how he and his siblings, Prince and Paris, want to emulate The King Of Pop’s impact on the world.
“That’s just kind of what each of us want to do,” he said, “make things that people hopefully enjoy, but also can benefit their lives.”
Bigi also discussed using his voice to tackle the issue of climate change, calling on world leaders to tackle the issue ahead of COP@6.
“I do think it’s important that we all know about it. I think we have work to do, but our generation knows how important it is”, he added.
The interview comes as Jackson’s kids have been in the media a lot more, with Prince Jackson appearing as a guest on FOX SOUL’s The Mix recently. Their sister, Paris, is of course an established actress and model.
