Nate Parker continues to stack up the projects; good for him! He's an actor I think many would love to see a lot more of on screen, especially in more prominent roles.

Parker has signed to co-star alongside Liam Neeson, in the airplane thriller, Non-Stop, which Jaume Collet-Serra will direct, from a script penned by John Richardson and Chris Roach. Collet-Serra directed Neeson in Unknown last year.

In Non-Stop, to be released by Universal Pictures, Neeson will play an air marshal who takes on an American terrorist threatening to kill a flight passenger every 20 minutes, unless the marshal kills himself.

Alright, I'm intrigued. Neeson's been Mr Bad-ass on film lately, so I suspect this'll be just as fast-paced, and action-packed (whether logical or not) a film, as with the two Taken movies, and Unknown, and other recent titles.

Nate arker will play a passenger who helps Neeson foil his foe.

Joel Silver is producing for Silver Pictures along with Andrew Rona and Alex Heineman.

StudioCanal is financing the project and will handle international distribution.

Production is set to begin in later this month in NYC.

Parker currently co-stars in Spike Lee's Red Hook Summer as well as with Richard Gere in Nicholas Jarecki's Arbitrage. Up next, you'll find him in the indie drama Ain’t Them Bodies Saints, which already stars Casey Affleck, Rooney Mara, and Ben Foster.
