Charles Barkley paid tribute to a few baller legends during the NBA Awards, but one of them wasn't feeling it.

During a presentation speech for Oscar Robertson's Lifetime Achievement Award, Barkley thanked Bill Russell for his contribution to the league. Russell, in true black uncle fashion, shot Barkley a bird during the live television broadcast.

The crowd cracked up laughing, and so did Twitter.

Russell addressed the bird on his own Twitter page with a hilarious apology to the viewers: "Sorry everyone, I forgot it was live TV & I can’t help myself whenever I see Charles it just is pure instinct," he tweeted.

We bet Barkley cried in the car.
