NBA star Victor Oladipo paid it forward this holiday season.

In addition to the accolades associated with winning the title of Most Improved Player last year, according to HuffPost, the Indiana Pacers Guard was also gifted a brand-new Kia car from the league. For Oladipio, he decided the car would be more beneficial with a new owner.

The Pacers hosted the Washington Wizards on Sunday, and domestic abuse survivor turned activist Renita Hills was honored for her work with The Julian Center in Indianapolis. The Julian Center has empowered the livelihood of more than 6,000 survivors of domestic abuse and sexual assault in Indiana.

During an intermission, Hills was ushered to the court where she was prompted to direct her attention to the center scoreboard. In a pre-recorded video, Oladipo praised Hills for her advocacy, calling her an "inspiration to so many people." Citing his commitment to giving back to the community, Oladipo surprised Hills and said he would be giving his new Kia to her instead.

Oladipo is no stranger to giving back. In 2015, the Indiana University alum donated a portion of the prize money he won in the NBA All-Star dunk contest to three separate research facilities aimed at finding a cure for cancer.
