NBA YoungBoy, also known as YoungBoy Never Broke Again, has made history as the youngest artist to have 100 songs featured on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The news follows the April 21 release of his latest single, “Big Truck,” which debuted at No. 100 on the chart. The track was streamed 6.6 million times in the United States upon the week of its release, according to Luminate and reported by Billboard.

At 23, the rapper is the 13th artist to chart 100 or more tracks. The title was previously held by Lil Baby, who joined the club in April 2022 at 27 years old. Before then, the spot was occupied by Justin Bieber in 2021, after Chris Brown, Future and Taylor Swift in 2020.

This comes as NBA YoungBoy recently released his new album, Don’t Try This at Home. He held a release party at Los Angeles’ Elevate Lounge on April 20, reported Complex. The rapper attended the event virtually as he is currently serving a house arrest sentence over a 2020 gun possession charge.

The rapper was featured on the Hot 100 for the first time in 2017 with the release of his track “Untouchable.” Since then, 12 of his songs have reached the top 40, including one in the top 10. In addition, “Bandit” with Juice WRLD went to No. 10 after its 2019 release.

Other artists are in line to join the roster of talent to have 100 songs featured in the Billboard Hot 100. Eminem, The Weeknd, James Brown, Travis Scott, Lil Uzi Vert and Beyoncé are some of them.

Today, popular artists have a better chance of reaching this milestone as the chart now includes streaming numbers. Only album sales and radio plays used to be counted.
