The Body Shop has announced a full revitalization of their best-selling Body Butter and is spreading love in doing so.

As part of the launch of the new eco-friendly products, the brand is shining a much-deserved light on Black TikTok creators, including Tracy "OJ" Joseph, Layla Muhammed, Sunjai Williams and Amari Smith, per a press release sent to Blavity. The creators joined forces with the skin-care company to debut their new "Spread Love" campaign.

The campaign and music video encourage consumers to spread love, equality and body positivity — they're also a response to the appropriation of work from young Black creators that's led to multiple TikTok strikes.

Behind the new song and creative video is director Alan Ferguson, who has worked with the likes of Beyoncé, Lizzo and Janelle Monáe. The performers bring the campaign to life among dancers of all body types, and were led by notable choreographer and artistic director Jemel McWilliams, whose work has appeared on stages across the globe, including Hollywood’s hottest award shows.

In videos sent to Blavity, McWilliams and the TikTokers shared how they like to pour love into the universe. McWilliams said he does so by way of encouragement.

“There are no limits at all. If the person next to you is doing it, so can you," the creator said.

Muhammed is a fan of spreading compliments.

“I love seeing people smile," she shared.

On Sept. 29, we can dance along with the kinesthetically gifted because they'll be teaching their followers part of the #SpreadLoveScoop dance, while encouraging them to post to their channels for a chance to win a year's supply of Body Butter.

The new Body Butter is currently available at The Body Shop, TheBodyShop.com and Ulta stores.
