Time flies… seems like it was just a few weeks ago when Joyful Noise was in theaters. Oh yeah, it was; it closed its theatrical run on March 30th, just about a month ago. And today it's out on DVD/Blu-ray.

The $30 million film (total theatrical box office return) wasn't exactly what you'd call a blockbuster (Think Like A Man made more than that after only its first weekend in release), so I'm assuming a lot of you didn't see it in theaters; now you can watch it in the comfort of your homes, on your large flat screen televisions.

It's also available on VOD and digital downloadI actually might, so you can find it on iTunes and Amazon for example. I just might give it a look this evening, as an Amazon VOD streamer.

Also out on Blu-ray for the first time ever is the second Men In Black movie (just in time for the upcoming release of Men In Black 3 of course); it's been awhile since I saw either of the first 2 films in the franchise. I probably saw them in theaters and haven't seen either since. Time for a revisit I suppose.

And if you're feeling brave enough, check out the universally-panned ensemble comedy New Year's Eve, which costarred Halle Berry and Ludacris amongst many others. It's also out on DVD/Blu-ray/VOD/digital download today.

Another title of interest out today on home video include Steven Soderbergh's Haywire, which I actually want to check out (didn't see it).
