Valentine's Day came early for Nick Cannon, but he may not be able to use the gift he received from his friend, comedian Kevin Hart.
As the daytime TV host prepares to welcome his eighth child, and after he allegedly started a vow of celibacy, Cannon revealed that his friends are hoping to help him hold off on making any more children in the near future.
In a picture posted to Instagram, Cannon stood in a full suit next to the gag gift full of Magnums.
"Looks like somebody just sent me an early Valentine's Day gift!!" he captioned the post.
While he didn't say who sent him the hilarious present, Hart was quick to take the credit for pulling off the joke.
“I see u got my gift @nickcannon ….GOTCHA B***H!!!!!!” Hart wrote in the caption. “Now u don’t have an excuse because the condoms are free #PrankWars.”
The two Real Husbands of Hollywood stars have carried on their prank war for a few months now. Cannon and Hart exchanged gag gifts back and forth a few months back, pulling off some elite jokes. Shortly before his TV show debuted, Cannon broke into Hart's airplane hangar and wrapped the jet with promotional pictures of Cannon's face. He also gifted Hart with a llama for the comedian's birthday.
As Blavity previously reported, Cannon recently announced he's expecting his eighth child, and first with model Bre Tiesi. The Love Don't Cost a Thing actor has 10-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe, who he shares with his ex-wife Mariah Carey. He also has a 4-year-old, Golden "Sagon" Cannon, and a 12-month-old, Powerful Queen, who he shares with Brittany Bell.
The actor also has another set of twins, Zion Mixolydian Cannon and Zillion Heir Cannon, as well as Zen Scott Cannon, who died in Dec. 2021.
The daytime host announced in October that he would be going on a celibacy journey, as recommended by his therapist. Though, in light of the new announcement, fans were wondering if he really stuck to it. Cannon addressed the controversy during one of his latest episodes.
“So for anybody who was thinking, ‘Oh, he wasn’t celibate!’ I was!” he said on his talk show, according to a clip posted on YouTube. “I was like, ‘Yo, I have to get my life under control because I felt like I was out of control.’ And honestly, that celibacy did help me through the journey of getting one with myself, being able to deal with this. So now everyone knows why I was actually being celibate.”
