Nick Cannon welcomed a baby boy with model Bre Tiesi, People reports. She announced the happy news on Instagram, sharing that she had an “all natural unmedicated home birth” and Cannon was by her side the entire time.

“I did it. An all natural unmedicated home birth. This was the most humbling / limit pushing yet awakening and completely empowering experience. I can’t thank my team enough for delivering my son safely,” she wrote in a post. “This experience has changed me forever and I couldn’t of asked for a more amazing and supportive partner.”

Later, she praised Cannon for showing up for her and their new bundle of joy.

“Daddy showed the f up for us.. I couldn’t of done it without you,” she added. “I can’t believe he’s here.”

Cannon hopped in the comments and praised Tiesi’s strength.

“You never cease to amaze me!! Full of passion, drive, focus, brilliance and most importantly love!!!” he shared in the comments.

He continued, expressing that he’s “honored and privileged to experience this beautiful miracle with you! Thank you for the greatest gift any human can give to another. For this my love is forever indebted.”

Tiesi also shared a video of her “real and raw birthing experience” on her YouTube channel, which showed Cannon supporting her along the way.

The Wild ‘N Out frontman has received backlash for his approach to relationship and parenting, with many questioning how he stays present in his children’s lives. He told Men’s Health in June that he’s “probably engaged throughout my children’s day, more often than the average adult can be.”

“If I’m not physically in the same city with my kids, I’m talking to them before they go to school via FaceTime and stuff. And then when I am [in the same city, I’m] driving my kids to school, like making sure I pick ’em up,” he said during the interview with Men’s Health.

As Blavity previously reported, Cannon is father to 11-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan, who he shares with his ex-wife Mariah Carey, 5-year-old Golden “Sagon” and 19-month-old Powerful Queen with Brittany Bell, and 13-month-old twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir with Abby De La Rosa. His son Zen died last December after being diagnosed with brain cancer.
