Nick Cannon, who recently welcomed his seventh child, reveals his therapist has since recommended he slow down on the baby-making and try out celibacy.

"I'm not sitting out here planning it. My therapist says I should be celibate," Cannon told Entertainment Tonight as he prepares to launch his own daytime talk show. "Okay, give me a break bus. I'm [gonna] take a break from having kids."

Model Alyssa Scott shared The Masked Singer host's son Zen Cannon was born in July 2021. He arrived just on the heels of Cannon's twin sons Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir, whom he shares with Abby De La Rosa. In December, he and his former girlfriend Brittany Bell brought home their daughter Powerful Queen Cannon. She is the second child the couple shares alongside 4-year-old son Golden "Sagon." In addition to the new children, Cannon also shares 10-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with his former wife Mariah Carey. 

"I come from a big family, I have several siblings, [and] being raised in an unorthodox family by my grandparents at times, I've experienced such a wide range of upbringing that I have such a love and passion for kids and family. I want a big family too. The Lord has blessed me with what I asked. Ask and you shall receive," Cannon continued.

He went on to add that he intends on staying transparent about his personal life, sharing with viewers of his daytime series some "intimate" details. 

"[I've] never been a person that's shied away from talking about my life. But I want to refocus it on others. I'm gonna be talking for an hour each and every day, hopefully, people get to know me in a very intimate way. If I'm in the headlines the night before, I'm definitely talking about it the next morning," he said.

Cannon opened up about his rapidly growing tribe in July, telling the City Girls on his Power 106 radio show that he didn't have any of his recent children on accident.

"Trust me, there's a lot of people that I could've gotten pregnant that I didn't," Cannon said, per People magazine. "The ones that got pregnant are the ones that were supposed to get pregnant."

"I'm like a seahorse out here. That's just the way I'm procreating," he said.
