Nick Cannon made a recent appearance on The Breakfast Club where he addressed his notoriously reproductive lifestyle.

Cannon joined Charlamagne Tha God and DJ Envy on Monday and talked about fathering seven children with multiple women, which many people have viewed as unconventional.

“It’s not the number of kids that people question, I think it’s the different baby mothers,” Charlamagne said.

“But why do people question that? That’s a Eurocentric concept when you think about the ideas of, like, you’re supposed to have this one person for the rest of your life, and really that’s just to classify property when you think about it,” Cannon responded.

Cannon’s seven children include his first set of twins, son Moroccan and daughter Monroe, whom he shares with Mariah Carey. He also has a daughter, Powerful Queen, and a son, Golden, with Brittany Bell. In June, he welcomed twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir with Abby De La Rosa. The Masked Singer host also welcomed a son, Zen, with Alyssa Scott in July.

“I’ve learned so much just from my children, man and it’s really amazing. I really just love being around my kids. It’s that youthful energy it feels like you get to relive every time,” the Drumline actor shared.

“I’ve been through so much in my life physically, mentally and spiritually, the best place that I find is the time that I spend with my kids and their energy and to get as much as that as possible. To pass on all that I’ve lived into something else, that’s why I do it man,” he added.

Some Twitter users weighed in on Cannon’s remarks, where the general opinion seemed to be divided fairly evenly.

The 40-year-old also added that he doesn’t have ownership over any one person and his actions are ultimately dependent on women who are the true leaders.

“Because we’re so indoctrinated into it, like, ‘We have to have it this way,’ I don’t subscribe to that. I actually think women are blessing us," the Wild 'n Out host shared. "Those women, and all women, are the ones that open themselves up to say, ‘I would like to allow this man in my world, and I will birth this child.’ So, it ain’t my decision, I’m following suit.”

"They know how I feel,” he added. “I'm not going around like, 'Who am I gonna impregnate next?' …The woman is always the one who leads and makes the decision."
