Nicki Minaj spoke her dream into existence. The Grammy-winning rapper went to Twitter on Tuesday to reflect on how she manifested her relationship with Beyoncé.

“When I wrote GFLD i didn’t have anything but an imagination & said ‘I’m out in Paris mthafka w|Beyonce,'” Minaj wrote, looking back at her “Girls Fall Like Dominoes” track from 2010. “Had never met her/spoken to her. No way I’d ever work w|her. Wrapping up my 3rd album #ThePinkprint she invited me to perform w|her for the very 1st time. In Paris.”

Fans on social media were thrilled to go down memory lane with Minaj.

As Blavity previously reported, Minaj recently appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden‘s Carpool Karaoke and rapped some of her best throwback hits.

During the show, the rapper opened up about dealing with anxiety and constant criticism.

“I think when I was younger, probably my more natural state was to be more confident. But I think when you are a woman and you’re in the public eye all the time, if you’re not careful, you can become less confident because you’re being constantly scrutinized,” she said. “It’s not natural for a human being to just always feel like everyone’s critiquing them.”

According to HipHopDX, Minaj first worked with Beyoncé in 2014 for their joint song, “Flawless (Remix).” The collaboration came four years after the release of Pink Friday. As the album re-entered the iTunes Top 10 on Tuesday, the 39-year-old reminisced on her journey to stardom.

Pink Friday debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. The album sold more than 375,000 copies in its first week, marking the second-highest sales week for a female hip-hop recording artist. Eminem, Rihanna, Drake, will.i.am and Kanye West were among the artists featured on the project.
