Actress and comedian Niecy Nash is living her best life.
After receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in July, the Claws actress shared with fans on Monday that she has tied the knot with singer Jessica Betts, Out Magazine reports.
Nash, 50, revealed a photo of her wedding on Instagram with a caption that read, “Mrs. Carol Denise Betts.”
Betts wrote a matching post on Instagram, writing "I got a whole Wife ???????? @niecynash1 #Bettsofbothworlds #LoveWins.”
According to People magazine, the Reno 911 star shared Betts' "Catch Me" song on her Instagram story and posted a picture of them with a message that read “#PlotTwist,” followed by a rainbow emoji.
A number of Nash’s celebrity friends ran to her post to show love on the special reveal.
"YASSSSSS!!!!!" actress Halle Berry wrote. "Bless this beautiful union!!"
"May God bless your beautiful union!" director Ava DuVernay said. "Love you!"
"You look GORGEOUS!" The Mindy Project star Mindy Kaling commented.
"Congratulations!! So much love to you both!"
Nash’s relationship update comes less than a year after she announced that she and ex-husband Jay Tucker were divorcing. In an Instagram post last October, she wrote they were better off as friends than marriage partners, but acknowledged they had a “gorgeous ride” together.
At the Essence Black Women in Hollywood Awards in February, Nash gave a rousing speech about using the wisdom she’s gained to help empower and support her daughters to prioritize their happiness.
“I’m about to take my 50th trip around the sun. I am the most grateful because I know myself better and more fully than I ever have before,” she announced. “I let my daughters watch me work through the whole [divorce], because for them, I want them to get up every single day and choose themselves.”
In March, Nash celebrated her 50th birthday with a body positive photo shoot and told People that she’s more in love with the person she’s becoming than ever before.
"This is the first time I've ever lived alone in my life, and I'm obsessed. I love it! You evolve. Who I was when I met my second husband 10 years ago is not who I am today. And at this age, you live long enough to know you don't owe nobody nothing. I'm a whole goal all by myself," she said.
