NLE Choppa is having issues with an ex over the child they share—A concern many people, unfortunately, know all too well. The 19-year-old rapper's high profile and the pair's toxic history have given this matter an extra dose of drama.

Yesterday, NLE Choppa began venting about his issues with Mariah on Twitter, specifically regarding how she's allegedly keeping Clover away from him.

"I'm miserable, but having my baby kept away was pre-meditated also them false charges that I beat. But I'm the bad guy. Seen my daughter 3 times since she was born. She going on 2, only time I've seen her is if it was COURT ORDERED, but I'm the bad guy," he wrote in a now-deleted tweet.

"Would've been had custody, but court keep getting pushed back cause of [COVID] not because I'm a threat to a child. I'm done holding my tongue on the truth I deserve better than [this]. My lil girl growing up without her daddy is a problem. A n***a ACTUALLY wanna be there," he added.

He also said that he's "posting to simply clear [his] name" and wants to have a relationship with his daughter, adding, "Keeping a child away from the parent that wants in, ain't P."

NLE Choppa welcomed a daughter named Clover with a woman named Mariah J. in mid-2020, though the pair's relationship was quite sour by that point. During Mariah's pregnancy, NLE Choppa was blasted on Twitter for allegedly shooting up her home and being abusive, and similar accusations came up a few months after she gave birth.

In response, the rapper infamously tweeted, "I SHOT THAT HOE BEFORE SHE GOT PREGNANT" in April 2020.

Despite past comments, NLE, Choppa denied ever shooting up Mariah's home, especially while she was pregnant.

"Can we have the bullet holes presented to the house I allegedly shot up, can we please [have] pictures of your face if I assaulted you with a close[d] fist, can we have a picture of door hinges of the house I burglarized? VANDALISM take full responsibility for ONLY CHARGE THAT STUCK," he tweeted.

"One mo thing on my daughter heart beat I never shot at a woman while they was pregnant. Please stop attaching that to my name. If I shot at somebody it was before the baby was in the picture. Another lie I'm tryna put to rest. NEVER HAPPENED ON GOD HIMSELF," NLE Choppa continued.

The rapper later told a different story after one Twitter user reminded Choppa that he had outright admitted to shooting at Mariah before.

"Those were past actions that 'll never happen again in life," he responded. "I've grown so much. I respect women too much to even up a gun on a lady, honestly."

NLE Choppa recently mentioned Mariah in a song he previewed on Twitter a few days ago, as he included the lyric: "If I f*cked you with a glove on my life, I'd be okay" and wrote "Y'all know who" within the caption.

Hopefully the pair is able to settle their differences out of the public eye for the sake of their daughter.
