ScreenDaily is reporting exclusively that Brit renaissance man Noel Clarke, is teaming up with his fellow Brit multihyphenate Jason Maza to produce the feature directorial debut of co-directors Marc Small and Davie Fairbanks – a dramedy titled Legacy.
Legacy will tell the story of a group of friends who get more than they bargained for, after deciding to throw the party of a lifetime.
Casting is underway with plans to shoot in mid-August.
UPIE has already signed up to distribute in the UK, with mobile phone company Alcatel onboard in a brand-partnership deal.
To be produced under Clarke’s Unstoppable Entertainment, the project reteams Clarke, Maza, Small and Fairbanks for another romp following their 2012 comedy The Knot.
The constantly-busy Noel Clarke is currently producing, directing and starring in sci-fi The Anomaly.
